An outstanding contemporary design that adds height and volume to a room, our Aspect uPVC Bi-Fold door system uses specially designed slim frames to maximise your view and light flooding into the heart of your home. Aspect Bi-Fold doors slide open and fold back more compactly than any rival model. That means you can create a continuous ‘garden room’ that stretches from inside your home to the great outdoors in one single, uninterrupted space.

Designed for easy installation with uPVC doors supplied assembled with all roller assemblies, tracks and hinges etc pre-fitted and tested in our factory. The double-glazed glass units are supplied separately for installation once the doors have been installed into the property.

Our 3 and 5 Pane designs features a master door that can be opened as a single traffic door for normal everyday access.  A slimline handle can then be raised to access a secondary patented concealed locking system to allow the remaining doors to be opened when required. Our 4-pane design features an independent master door that can be opened as a single traffic door for normal everyday access. The other 3 doors all slide in the opposite direction via a slimline handle that can then be raised to access a secondary patented concealed locking system to allow the remaining doors to be opened when required.

Our Bi-Folding Doors are available in a range of opening configurations (depending on your opening size) and to open in or out.

We use a simple three numbered system to determine the opening configuration as follows.

- The first number is the total number of opening door sashes.

- The second number is the number of doors that slide to the left (viewed from outside).

- The third number is the number of doors that slide to the right (viewed from outside).

So for example a 3-3-0 door has three doors, three open to the left and none open to the right.

  • Our 3-0-3 door has three doors overall with all three folding to the right viewed from outside.

The single traffic door can be opened and closed for everyday access then when required the second and third door can be unlocked and all of the doors folded back.

  • Our 3-1-2 door has one single opening everyday traffic door on the left (viewed from outside).  Then when required the other two doors on the right can be unlocked, opened and folded back.

  • Our 3-2-1 door has one single opening everyday traffic door on the right (viewed from outside).  Then when required the other two doors on the left can be unlocked, opened and folded back.

  • Our 3-3-0 door has three door sahes overall with all three folding to the left viewed from outside.

The single traffic door can be opened and closed for everyday access then when  required the second and third door can be unlocked and all of the doors folded back.

  • Our 4-0-4 door has 4 door sashes all sliding to the right (when viewed from outside).  With this option as it has an even number of doors sliding one way there isn't a single opening master door (as the end door requires a roller that is in the track) this is the same with all bi-fold systems with this configuration.  We therefore recommend that if you require a single everyday traffic door you look at the other styles available for your size requirements.

Also due to the fact the master door is in the track the first two doors need to be opened and slid to exit.  The locking system on this door (and this style of door ONLY) does not allow access from the outside once it has been locked from the inside.  If this is not suitable please look at the other options available for you size requirements.

  • Our 4-1-3 door has a single opening everyday traffic door on the left.  The first door on the right can also be opened once the master door is opened giving a French Door effect without opening all of the other doors.  When required the other two doors can be unlocked allowing all three doors all to slide back to the right.

  • Our 4-2-2 door has two door sashes sliding to the left and two to the right.

  • Our 4-3-1 door has a single opening everyday traffic door on the right.  The first door on the left can also be opened once the master door is opened giving a French Door effect without opening all of the other doors.  When required the other two doors can be unlocked allowing all three doors all to slide back to the left.

  • Our 4-4-0 door has 4 doors all sliding to the left (when viewed from outside).  With this option as it has an even number of doors sliding one way there isn't a single opening master door (as the end door requires a roller that is in the track) this is the same with all bi-fold systems with this configuration.  We therefore recommend that if you require a single everyday traffic door you look at the other styles available for your size requirements.

  • Our 5-0-5 door has five doors with all five doors folding to the right viewed from outside.

The single traffic door on the left can be opened and closed for everyday access then when required the second and third door can be unlocked and opened to increase the opening.

Finally when required doors four and five can also be unlocked to allow all five doors to be opened and slid to the right giving a clear opening.

  • Our 5-1-4 door has a single opening everyday traffic door on the left.

Doors two and three can also be unlocked and folded to the right to increase the opening.

Finally when required doors three and four can also be unlocked and opened so all four doors on the right can be folded back.

  • Our 5-2-3 door has a single opening everyday traffic door in the centre opening to the right (viewed from outside).

Once this centre door is open the two doors on the left can also be opened and slid to the left.

Finally when required the two doors to the far right can be unlocked and these doors and the centre door be fully opened and slid to the right giving a clear opening.

Alternatively the two doors on the left can remain closed if required and just the three doors on the right opened.

  • Our 5-3-2 door has a single opening everyday traffic door in the centre opening to the left (viewed from outside).

Once this centre door is open the two doors on the right can also be opened and slid to the right.

Finally when required the two doors to the far left can be unlocked and these doors and the centre door be fully opened and slid to the left giving a clear opening.

Alternatively the two doors on the right can remain closed if required and just the three doors on the left opened.

  • Our 5-4-1 door has a single opening everyday traffic door on the right.

Doors two and three can also be unlocked and folded to the left to increase the opening.

Finally when required doors three and four can also be unlocked and opened so all four doors on the left can be folded back.

  • Our 5-5-0 door has five doors with all five doors folding to the left viewed from outside.

The single traffic door on the right can be opened and closed for everyday access then when required the second and third door can be unlocked and opened to increase the opening.

Finally when required doors four and five can also be unlocked to allow all five doors to be opened and slid to the left giving a clear opening.

Our doors are supplied with a handle as standard included in the price being white on white doors and a black handle on coloured doors.

We also offer to upgrade to Gold, Bright Chrome, Satin (Brushed) Chrome and Smokey Chrome etc please make you selection here.

Our Bi-Fold Doors can be manufactured to Open Out (most common) or Open In - Please make your selection here.

Whether you choose Open In or, Open Out the way the doors open and slide is always determined viewed from the OUTSIDE of the property looking in.

Our standard glass is toughened safety glass double glazed units with a low-e coating and argon filled cavity for added thermal efficiency.

We also offer Warm Edge Glass Units (commonly referred to as 'A-Rated Glass') as an upgrade.

All our door glass units are supplied to BSEN12150 & BSEN1279.

Our standard and most common thresh is a UPVC frame which is a continuation of the frame used on the sides and top of the door.  The UPVC thresh option is 65mm high.  If this is sat on a cill these are 30mm so overall the height is 95mm.  Often some of this is below internal floor level so often the height is lower than this.

We also offer a low-rise aluminium thresh.  The low-rise thresh is 30mm high, again if this is placed on a cill 30mm is added so 60mm in total.  With this option a ramp can be added to either or both sizes of the thresh.  Adding the ramp to the outside makes the door Part-M compliant.

Our Internal Room Divider is 15mm high and is for use for internal applications only (so for example between a dinning room and garden room).  The Internal Room Divider is not weather rated so is not suitable for external applications.

With our low rise thresh option a ramp can be added to either or both sizes of the thresh.  Adding the ramp to the outside makes the door Part-M compliant.  In most applications either no ramp is fitted or one is fitted outside.

Our internal roof divider is for internal use only (for example between a dinning room and conservatory).  Please tick to acknowledge that this is for internal use only.

We offer three sizes of Cill by far the most common is the 150mm Cill but we also offer a shorter 85mm Stub Cill and a longer 180mm Cill.

If you choose to add a cill we will take into account the height of this in the overall height of your door that you entered above.

If you select not to have a cill you have the option of;

Face drainage - We will place drainage slots in the front face with cover caps meaning any rain water will drain out of the front face of the frame to escape.

Concealed drainage - We will place concealed drainage slots on the underside of the frame to drain onto a existing cill.  Please note that if you choose this option that you have a suitable means of any water escaping from the bottom of the frame (for example onto an existing stone cill) and that it is not 'trapped' as that could potentially seep back into the property.  If  in doubt seek advise or always fit the product onto one of our standard 150mm cills.

We fit our trickle vent in an overhead canopy that runs across the top of the door.  The vents can be opened and closed as required and we use a 5000EA (Equivalent Area) trickle vent to comply with Part-F of the Building Regulations.

If you choose to add an overhead vent we will take into account the height of this in the overall height of your door.
