Our products are large can be heavy and difficult to transport. We have therefore partnered with and successfully used a specialist delivery company for over 10 years now.
After you place your order you will be sent and order confirmation from ourselves. Once your product is ready for delivery the delivery company will CONTACT YOU BY PHONE to arrange a suitable delivery date (they will not just land like a 'normal courier').
When you are contacted you can discuss any delivery requirements (time requests and access restrictions etc). The delivery drivers also endeavour to call you the day before delivery to confirm and also give you an approximate time of delivery.
Our delivery provider endeavours to provide a 2-person delivery team to minimise the need for assistance on delivery.
All our French Doors are supplied pre-glazed in the factory so there is no need to remove and handle the glass.
Our Model 4 French Doors are supplied complete with the doors sashes fitted in the frame. The door sashes can be lifted off the frame on the hinges for ease of installation.
With our Model 5 and 6 French Doors due to the sizes and weight the frame is supplied separate as is the two pre-glazed door sashes. All of the hinges are fitted to the doors, so the door sashes can lift onto the frame after installation.
With our combination sets (doors with sidelites) the sidelites are supplied separate with aluminium connector bar, fixings and covering trims. To install the sidelite(s) the glass needs to be removed so we fit handy 'pull straps' under the bead for ease of removal.
As the sidelites are supplied separately if you order a combination set with only one side lite you can choose during installation whether to install it to the right or left-hand side.
All of our Roof Lanterns are assembled in our factory and Quality Checked.
All components are marked up to show where they go as per a drawing we supply. The Lanterns are then photographed before being disassembled and flat packed into boxes.
All of the holes are pre-drilled, and the fixing nuts and bolts are fixed into position by us so the Lantern can be easily assembled on site.
The glass is supplied separately and is all individually wrapped with protective foam to protect all edges. All of the glass is labelled with a reference number that corresponds with a plan we supply to show where each unit goes. The label also clearly identifies which face is the Self-Cleaning face that is to go to the outside.
Every Lantern also includes comprehensive installation instructions.
We specialise in the high volume manufacture of roof and door systems and we do not offer an installation service however the Lanterns are very easy to assemble, and a suitably qualified Builder or Roofing Company will be able to install our products.
Our glass is true Pilkington Active Self Clean unlike some other products advertised as 'Easy Clean Products' that are not true Self Clean.
Our Glass is a new generation of 'Photo Catalytic' glass to offer the ultimate in low maintenance technology. Each unit is manufactured with an invisible dual action coating to the outer face, which first acts by harnessing the ultraviolet energy in ordinary daylight to power a chemical reaction that breaks down organic dirt.
Secondly, rather than forming droplets, under rainfall this technology allows for the water to 'sheet off' the glass, carrying the dirt away.
